Joellen Sorenson, CMM Group Principal has over 15 years of sales, marketing, and product management experience. Prior to joining Customer Message Management, LLC, Joellen worked as a Product Marketing Manager at Océ, a global leader in digital document management and delivery.

While at Océ, Joellen championed and implemented a complete Customer Message Management initiative. She started with a Strategic Message Map exercise and then guided the project through the creation of new Value Messaging, the development of new sales-cycle relevant tools, and the automated delivery of those tools via a dynamic document and proposal assembly software implementation.

Prior to Océ, Joellen was an Account Manager for a national consulting firm where she initiated and developed consultative client relationships with senior financial managers and executives in middle market and Fortune 1000 organizations. Joellen also has experience in the insurance industry, where she spent more than five years in a variety of business and market development roles in the U.S. and Asia.

Joellen offers clients a unique perspective because she has worked in both field sales and corporate marketing. She understands firsthand the inherent challenges in forming a successful partnership between the two, and enjoys working with clients who seek to transform their marketing efforts in support of a differentiated, customer-focused, and value-oriented sales process.

Joellen has a BS in Business Economics from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP).
